2013 OPENING CEREMONIES AT US AIRWAYS CENTER
After 3 years at Chase Field, the Opening Ceremonies moved to US Airways Center, home of the Phoenix Suns and Mercury and celebrated the Totally Awesome '80s. The Festival's mascot Crush shows off her best moves at the OC below.

2013 THEME - TOTALLY AWESOME 80's
"Totally Awesome 80's" celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the Volleyball Festival and our first tournament in 1984. From Boom Boxes and Sony Walkmans to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Cabbage Patch Dolls. Down with E.T., Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future, Full House, The Cosby Show, Leg Warmers and Reebok Freestyles? Then like wear your radical 80's costumes to Opening Ceremonies at US Airways Center June 23 and rock to the outrageous sounds from the likes of Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Bon Jovi.
2013 PLAYER SHOWCASE
Over 100 athletes
from the classes of 2013-2017 participated in the Biokats Sports Network
National Player Showcase sessions in front of scouts and college coaches including Arizona State, Stanford, Hawaii and Long Beach State. National Scouting Report (NSR)
has brought in scouts from around the country to provide free player evaluations. Wednesday is the last day for parents, athletes and coaches to attend their recruiting seminars and workshops for parents at 11am, 2pm and 6pm.

The Phoenix Convention Center will be the host site for all matches of the 2013 Volleyball Festival. Our goal is to finalize the dates for Opening Ceremonies and tournament play by October 1 of each year. The actual dates will only vary by one or two days from the below tentative schedule.
- June 26 - 29, 2014, Opening Ceremonies June 25
- June 25 - 28, 2015, Opening Ceremonies June 24
A Festival tradition for 30 years! Every player will go home with a commemorative 16" x 20" themed Festival Poster. Posters are given out at the conclusion of each team's last match. Below is the 2013 Poster.
